“Best full hanging baskets around with beautiful flowers for pots, etc! Lots of veg. plants also! Got some gift items that are very unique! Small little shop full of fun stuff! You won’t be sorry you stopped!”

Brooke’s Most Asked Questions

  1. What things can you plant early in the spring when it’s still cool?

You can plant vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts early in the spring. You can also sow carrots, radishes, spinach, lettuce, peas, snow peas, and beets. These plants actually prefer cooler weather!

  2. What flowers can take the hot summer sun well?

Geraniums and petunias are super tough—they can handle the hot summer sun even when other flowers might wilt or burn. They’re perfect for bright, sunny spots in your garden!

Fun fact: Did you know that some gardeners plant geraniums near other flowers because their natural scent can help keep pests away?

  3. Do you have flowers that will come back every year?

Yes!  We keep both annuals and perennials on hand.  The perennials are always in the back of The Garden Shed and we keep a variety of sun and shade perennials along with ones that will bloom at different times of the spring, summer and fall so you always have color to enjoy in your flower beds!
